The Goulburn Rugby Union Football Club started it’s preparation for season 2018 with it’s AGM at the Clubhouse in Addison Street at 6pm on Wednesday, December 13.
At the meeting, a new committee was elected along with the coaching staff and a member was granted Life Membership.
President Matt Klem, who had held that title for 12 years, stepped down from the position with that position now filled by former senior vice president, Peter Greaves. The committee voiced their thankfulness and indebtedness to Matt for his tireless work in the longest presidency in the club’s 145 year history. Matt agreed to stay on the committee in a different role and will assist Peter Greaves in the change over. The new committee elected for the 2018 season consists of:

Ben Pearson was given he nod to return as the first grade coach for 2018 and he will be backed up by Sam Tabner as reserve grade coach.
Life Membership was also granted to club member Chris Gordon at the AGM.
